Lisa Grasshoff

I'm  Lisa, a Mental Health Counseling Intern prepared to graduate from Marquette University in December 2024 with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in children and adolescents.

I work with children ages three and up, using a collaborative, client-centered, holistic approach that nurtures growth and healing. As a certified Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) Facilitator, I empower parents to manage challenging behaviors and cultivate nurturing home environments. I focus on helping children develop emotional regulation, social skills, and self-confidence, firmly believing that every child has the potential to thrive in a supportive setting.
 

My passion extends beyond my work with children. I am committed to empowering individuals and couples to recognize and utilize their unique strengths and potential for positive change. With a strong emphasis on a person-centered approach, I believe everyone possesses the inner resources and resilience to overcome life’s challenges.
 

As a certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) practitioner, I guide individuals in managing their emotions and stress. I am deeply committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel genuinely valued and understood, enabling them to explore solutions and build resilience.
